De Groene Bloem is a self-picking flower garden located in Vilt, South Limburg, Netherlands. In 2025, there will be fewer activities due to planning for the next year. In 2025, the garden offers: Limited availability of spring bouquets with tulips and daffodils from April. Free flower picking for “Friends” of the garden. Spontaneous flower picking moments when there are many flowers available (sign up for the newsletter to stay informed). Special flower arrangements, such as funeral arrangements or festive bouquets (contact for options). Volunteer mornings on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help maintain the garden. You can support the garden by becoming a “Friend” for €15, which includes one free picking session in 2025. You can also give a “Friendship” as a gift. The garden focuses on sustainable practices, local and natural flowers, biodiversity, working without pesticides, healthy soil life, and organic flower bulbs. The owner is Berbke Brouwer.

Bloemfontein Bergen is a self-picking farm located in Bergen, North Holland, at Groeneweg 8a. The farm is run by a family and friends. It opens at the end of March/beginning of April 2025. Visitors can pick their own flowers, including: Tulips: Available from April to mid-May. These are pulled from the ground with the bulb. Peonies: Bloom for a short period at the beginning of May. Summer Flowers: Including peonies, lupines, alliums, irises, and more, available from mid-May to July. Irises are pulled from the ground with the bulb, other should be cut with your own scissors. Dahlias, Gladiolus, and Sunflowers: Available at the end of summer, from July to September. Scissors are recommended. Upon arrival, visitors can park on the premises and will receive instructions from a team member. Dogs must be kept on a leash. After picking, flowers can be counted and wrapped at the packing table. Refreshments are available for purchase on weekends.

Pluktuin Schipluiden is a self-picking farm located on the outskirts of Schipluiden, Netherlands. The farm is open daily from late March to the end of October, except for Tuesdays, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Entrance to the sculpture and flower garden costs €7.50 in 2025. Entrance to the picking garden is free for flower pickers.

Pluktuin Stoutenburg is a self-picking farm and tea house located in the Utrechts Landschap area. The tea house is open from May 1st, Thursday to Saturday, from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, offering coffee, tea, homemade cakes, and ice cream. They also offer high tea by appointment for groups of 4 or more, featuring homemade sandwiches, quiche, scones, and cakes. From mid-April to early May, visitors can pick tulips. After that, summer plants are planted, and from July onwards, visitors can pick their own summer bouquets. The farm grows a variety of flowers, including dahlias, ammi majus, lathyrus, marigolds, cornflowers, and zinnias. There is also a children’s picking garden with flowers in various colors. In the fall, they sell pumpkins.

GAOS is a biodynamic farm in Swifterbant, Netherlands, offering a variety of activities and produce. They cultivate around twenty different crops. The farm features a pick-your-own flower garden that is open from sunrise to sunset. You can pick your own flowers or subscribe for weekly pick-ups. They also occasionally organize plant markets with organic plants. In the spring, tulips are available for picking. The farm also has a 3.5 km hiking trail through their fields and a natural area. GAOS focuses on sustainable farming practices, including crop rotation, using manure from their own animals, and maintaining natural habitats.
