We list almost thirty pick-your-own farms in Zeeland. Apples and pears come first, then flowers, and pumpkins in autumn. Some of the farms are on Walcheren, some in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The latter is on the other side of the Westerschelde, which looks closer on the map than it is.

Two of the four below belong to a campsite. That is very Zeeland.

CSA tuinderij Plantalia in Ritthem, between Middelburg and Vlissingen. Organic, and grown without animal manure. It is a garden for members with a harvest share. Main season May through November, with at least five kinds of vegetables per week. The list on our page is much longer, fifty or so, but that is counted over the whole year.

Bloemen pluktuin Essenhoeve in Cadzand is part of a small campsite on an arable farm. Summer flowers from July, every day from 9:00 to 20:00. The price depends on how thick your bouquet is where you tie it: from about €4 to around €10 for a big one. There is parking and a toilet, and dogs are welcome.

Camping Innerduyn in Biggekerke is an adults-only campsite with a self-service picking garden of 42 small plots. Sunflowers, zinnias, cornflowers, marigolds. From July to the end of September, sunrise to sunset. Pay in cash or by bank transfer. The 230-odd reviews are mostly about the campsite and not the flowers.

Charlotte’s Pompoenen in IJzendijke started in 1992 with dried flowers. From 1 September through 31 October there is a pumpkin trail with more than 400 kinds of pumpkins and gourds. Whether you actually take them from the field yourself or mostly look and then buy in the shop is not entirely clear to us. The shop is open Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 and Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00.

Cadzand and IJzendijke are in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. From Middelburg you need to go through the Westerschelde tunnel to get there.

Boomgaard 'op Noten'

At Boomgaard “op Noten” in Terneuzen you pick your own apples and pears on two Saturdays in September. The 2026 dates are 12 and 19 September, from 10.00 to 16.00. You pay by the kilo for what you pick; the price is set each year. The farm grows Jonagored apples, Conference and Doyenne du Comice pears, and stoofperen such as St. Remy and Gieser Wildeman. A crate of pre-picked Goudreinet apples and Gieser Wildeman stoofpeertjes is also available.

CSA tuinderij Plantalia

At CSA Tuinderij Plantalia in Ritthem, you pick your own organic vegetables, herbs and seasonal fruit from May to November. The farm grows over 40 types of vegetables, including courgettes, tomatoes, beans, carrots, beetroot, kale, spinach, leeks and various cabbages. Herbs include basil, parsley, dill, coriander and thyme. Strawberries are available in season, and the farm plans to add more fruit bushes in the future. Plantalia works on a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) model. Instead of paying per kilo, you buy a harvest share at the start of the season. This covers a weekly supply of fresh produce, which you pick yourself from the fields. Shares are available for a single month, the full season or a full year. Prices for the 2026 season start at €295 for an adult, with discounts for children. A trial month costs €45. If you prefer not to pick, the farm can harvest your share and deliver it to a collection point in Middelburg or Vlissingen for an extra fee.

De Pompoenwinkel in Geersdijk is a pick-your-own farm specialising in pumpkins, gourds and cut flowers. The pumpkin fields are open from early August until the end of December, with over 50 varieties of edible and decorative pumpkins and gourds to choose from. Visitors can also explore the pumpkin garden, which features informational signs about different species and growing methods. The farm’s flower fields include a pick-your-own garden with more than 60 types of flowers, including dahlias, perennials and annuals. The season runs from early July to the end of October. Scissors and elastics are provided, and small vases are available for purchase. A self-service coffee corner in the greenhouse offers drinks and snacks, open Friday to Sunday.

At Bloemen pluktuin Essenhoeve in Cadzand, visitors can pick their own flowers from a field of summer blooms. The farm is set to open its flower-picking garden in July 2026. The season runs daily from 09.00 to 21.00. You choose and cut your own flowers to create a bouquet. All materials for arranging are provided. Prices depend on the size of the bouquet, starting at €6 for a small bunch and around €10 for a larger one. The cost is based on the thickness of the stems at the binding point.

Charlotte’s Pompoenen in IJzendijke is a pick-your-own pumpkin farm with over 400 varieties of pumpkins, gourds, ornamental cucumbers, peppers and aubergines. The main season runs from 1 September to 31 October. During this time, visitors can walk the pumpkin trail, which is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10.00 to 17.00, and on Sundays from 13.00 to 17.00. You pick your own pumpkins and other produce directly from the fields. The farm also has a shop selling pumpkin-based products such as liqueur, jam, syrup, beer and juice, as well as dried flowers and seasonal plants like geraniums, bedding plants and strawberries outside the pumpkin season. There is no entry fee for the fields or shop.

Theeschenkerij de Pluktuin

At Theeschenkerij de Pluktuin in Koudekerke, visitors can pick their own flowers from the adjoining pluktuin. The field grows annual flowers, available to cut during the picking season from April to October. To pick flowers, you first check in at the tearoom. Baskets and scissors are provided. You pay for what you pick by the stem or bunch—prices are set by the farm. The flowers are grown on-site, and the selection changes as different varieties come into bloom.

The farm is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Entry is free; you pay only for the flowers you pick. Bring your own secateurs or borrow a pair at the field. You get a basket or a bucket of water to keep the flowers fresh while you pick.

Cadsand Fruit Zaamslag

Cadsand Fruit in Zaamslag is a pick-your-own orchard and flower field. From June to the end of October, visitors can pick seasonal flowers in the self-service flower field. The main crop is fruit: apples and pears, available for picking during two annual self-pick days in September. In 2026, these take place on Saturday 12 and Saturday 19 September, from 10.00 to 16.00. The flower field is open daily from sunrise to sunset. You pick your own bouquet, cut the stems with provided secateurs, and pay based on the thickness of the bunch at the binding point. Minicamping De Bloementuin

Minicamping De Bloementuin in Sint-Annaland is a pick-your-own flower farm with a campsite. From late June to September, visitors can pick their own bouquets in the flower field next to the camping area. The farm provides scissors and a picking basket; you pay by the bunch. The field is open during the campsite’s season, with no set hours—arrive during daylight. The farm also grows plants and flowers for sale in its nursery, which operates year-round. The campsite has 15 pitches with electricity and water, four basic trekkers’ spots, and a safari tent for four. Facilities include four showers, four toilets, two covered washing-up areas, and free Wi-Fi. There is a small play area for children, and dogs are welcome. The site is car-free once you arrive.

Sint Anthonijshoek

The farm organises picking days every Saturday from 12 September to 10 October, between 09.00 and 16.00. In the first weeks, varieties available include Elstar, Conference, Robijn and Delcorf. From 26 September, Jonagold and Rode Boskoop (Goudreinette) are also ready to pick. The farm grows mainly apples, pears and plums in its orchard.
