At Bloemen pluktuin Essenhoeve in Cadzand, visitors can pick their own flowers from a field of summer blooms. The farm is set to open its flower-picking garden in July 2026. The season runs daily from 09.00 to 21.00.

You choose and cut your own flowers to create a bouquet. All materials for arranging are provided. Prices depend on the size of the bouquet, starting at €6 for a small bunch and around €10 for a larger one. The cost is based on the thickness of the stems at the binding point.

The farm is part of a working agricultural estate, Essenhoeve, which also operates a small campsite, holiday rentals, and camper pitches. The flower field is located near an authentic Zeeland farmhouse, with views over the surrounding polder. The area is close to the coast, with the beach and the Zwin nature reserve a short cycle ride away.

Essenhoeve is open year-round for its campsite and holiday homes, but the flower-picking garden is seasonal. The farm grows crops such as wheat, flax, and sugar beet, and keeps pension horses on the property. There is no farm shop or café on site. Parking is available.

In spring the field has tulips, narcissi, anemones and biennials; in summer zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, marigolds, cosmos and cornflowers. You pay per stem, from €0.30 to €1.00 depending on the flower. The farm also sells ready-made bouquets, jams, seeds and bulbs. The field is open for picking from the end of March until 1 November 2026. You can visit on Wednesday and Thursday from 14.00 to 18.00, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 14.00 to 17.00. The farm is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Entry is free; you pay only for the flowers you pick. Bring your own secateurs or borrow a pair at the field. You get a basket or a bucket of water to keep the flowers fresh while you pick.

Charlotte's Pompoenen

Charlotte’s Pompoenen in IJzendijke is a pick-your-own pumpkin farm with over 400 varieties of pumpkins, gourds, ornamental cucumbers, peppers and aubergines. The main season runs from 1 September to 31 October. During this time, visitors can walk the pumpkin trail, which is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10.00 to 17.00, and on Sundays from 13.00 to 17.00. You pick your own pumpkins and other produce directly from the fields. The farm also has a shop selling pumpkin-based products such as liqueur, jam, syrup, beer and juice, as well as dried flowers and seasonal plants like geraniums, bedding plants and strawberries outside the pumpkin season. There is no entry fee for the fields or shop.

Camping Innerduyn (incl. pluktuin)

Camping Innerduyn in Biggekerke is a pick-your-own flower farm open from July until the end of September. The field is divided into 42 small plots planted with annual flowers such as sunflowers, zinnias, cornflowers, marigolds and dahlias. The plots are sown at different times so that flowers are available throughout the season. The farm is open daily from sunrise to sunset. You pay by the size of the bouquet, not by weight or stem. Scissors and elastic bands are provided in a self-service kiosk. Payment is on trust: you leave cash in a box or transfer the amount later. The kiosk also sells local produce, including potatoes, onions, free-range eggs, honey, apples and pears, depending on the season.

Sint Anthonijshoek

Sint Anthonijshoek in Koudekerke is a working arable farm with a pick-your-own flower field. The field is open from late July until the flowers run out, usually by early autumn. Visitors pick annual flowers such as cosmos, zinnias and sunflowers, which are sown each May. The farm does not guarantee which varieties will be available, as the crop depends on the weather. You pay a flat fee of €5 per bouquet, regardless of size. The farm provides scissors and a wooden crate to collect the stems; you tie the bouquet yourself at one of the tables. Children must be supervised. The field is open during the same hours as the on-site tearoom: Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00 to 17.00.
