Bloemenboerderij Pluktuin Hof Zjevernie

Hof Zjevernie is a flower farm located at Korte Heerenstraat 5 in Oostburg, operated by Marjan de Feijter. Situated on a former 1922 farm, it cultivates a diverse range of beautiful flowers on fertile clay soil, grown without artificial fertilizers or pesticides and harvested according to the seasons.

The farm is primarily known for its self-picking garden. However, it is currently closed for self-picking until March 2026, when it is scheduled to reopen.

Visitors can self-pick a variety of flowers, including:

  • Spring flowers: Snowdrops, daffodils, tulips, winter aconite, and hellebores.
  • Summer flowers: Cosmea, zinnia, dahlia, sunflowers, marigolds, cup mallow, coreopsis, and many other seasonal varieties.

Beyond self-picking, Hof Zjevernie offers a range of amenities and products. The farm features an open tea garden with a terrace where guests can enjoy coffee, tea (including fresh mint and ginger options), soft drinks, and homemade pastries such as apple cream cake, cake, and Monchou. There is also an animal meadow with pigs and chickens, an orchard, a rose garden, and a plant nursery selling various plants and flower bulbs, including Verbena bonariensis, Helleborus, and Rudbeckia Goldsturm.

Additionally, Hof Zjevernie sells pre-made bouquets, floral arrangements for special occasions, seasonal fruit and vegetables, goose eggs, juices, and jams, with an emphasis on unsprayed produce. The farm also hosts workshops, such as dahlia bouquet making, and offers tours and group events like lunches. Entrance to the garden is free, with payment for picked flowers charged per stem, and seasonal self-picking or bouquet subscriptions are available.
