Cadsand Fruit Zaamslag is a farm located in Zaamslag, Netherlands, offering a variety of self-pick experiences and fresh produce from its own orchard and gardens. The farm is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Visitors can pick their own flowers at the blooming garden, which is open daily from June through the end of October. The garden operates on a self-service basis, allowing guests to pick between sunrise and sunset, and pay by cash or QR code based on the thickness of their bouquet.
For fruit, the farm hosts specific self-pick days for apples and pears, typically held on two Saturdays in September from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The apple variety available for picking is Jonagored, while pear varieties include Conference, Doyenne du Commice, and the cooking pear St. Remy. Additionally, a selection of Gieser Wildeman cooking pears and Goudreinet apples are available for gathering at the same price. Visitors should bring their own bags or crates, and payment is cash or via a Dutch banking app only.
A fruit stand on the farm sells apples and pears from the farm’s own harvest, typically open from the start of the new harvest in late August or early September until the end of January. Dahlia tubers from the farm’s own picking garden are also sold.
