Bloemetje Geluk is a pick-your-own flower garden located in Stokkum, near Markelo, set amidst the tranquil natural beauty of Twente. This garden offers visitors the opportunity to personally select and gather their own floral arrangements from a wide variety of seasonal blooms.
During spring, typically around mid-April, the garden features an extensive display of tulips and alliums, with over 10,000 different tulip bulbs available for picking. As summer progresses, from July through mid-October, the garden showcases a vibrant array of summer flowers, including dahlias, zinnias, lathyrus, cornflowers, dill, rudbeckia, and sunflowers, among many other colorful species. Expert guidance is provided to help visitors create their perfect bouquet.
In addition to self-picking, Bloemetje Geluk hosts a range of creative workshops. These include flower arranging workshops where participants learn to create beautiful bouquets from freshly picked flowers, as well as various ceramic workshops. In these ceramic sessions, individuals can craft items such as garden stakes, vases, mugs, bowls, plates, or seasonal decorations like Christmas trees and wreaths, with glazing included. A dedicated workshop for creating Christmas wreaths is also offered.
For those who prefer convenience, pre-made seasonal bouquets, featuring either tulips or summer flowers, can be ordered online. Orders are available for pickup at the atelier in Markelo or can be delivered to surrounding areas. Gift vouchers, known as “Plukbon,” are also available. The farm also provides personalized funeral flower arrangements. Bloemetje Geluk operates with a focus on sustainability, utilizing recyclable packaging and durable products.
