Bloomboost

Bloomboost

Bloomboost is a nursery and web shop based in Boskoop, in the heart of the Dutch horticulture region. It specializes in a wide range of visually attractive, winter-hardy perennial plants, all grown using natural methods without artificial fertilizers or chemical pesticides. The business is run by a fourth-generation grower who cultivates the plants on a five-hectare site, offering them directly from the nursery. The core mission is to help gardens become vibrant, biodiverse spaces that attract pollinators like bees and butterflies.

The selection of produce that can be grown and harvested includes plants for cut flowers, edible blooms, and fragrant flowers, as well as mixes for balconies, terraces, and borders. Specific options include dahlia and snijbloemen (cut flowers), eetbare bloemen (edible flowers like calendula), and herbs such as thyme, oregano, rosemary, and mint. Strawberry plants are also available for growing fruit at home. The nursery operates seasonally, with the main opening period for new plants starting in March. It is open year-round, 24 hours a day, for online orders.
