Cadsand Fruit Zaamslag

Cadsand Fruit Zaamslag is a family-run orchard and flower garden located in Zaamslag, Netherlands. The farm offers a variety of self-pick activities and seasonal produce directly from its own fields and orchards. It is wheelchair accessible, with a designated accessible parking and entrance.

From June through the end of October, guests can visit the flower picking garden. This field of flowers is open every day from sunrise to sunset, operating on a self-service basis. Visitors can cut their own bouquet of seasonal blooms. In September, the farm hosts designated self-pick days for fruit. In 2025, these are scheduled for Saturday, September 13 and Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

During these self-pick days, visitors can harvest apples (Jonagored) and pears (Conference, Doyenne du Commice, and St. Remy stoofpeers). A crate of Gieser Wildeman stoofpeertjes and Goudreinet apples is also available for picking at the same price. These events take place at a different location: the orchard “Op Noten,” along the Schepenlaan, south of the Othene district in Terneuzen. Access is free, and there is a charge per kilogram for picked fruit (price to be confirmed).

In addition to picking, the farm operates a fruit stand (fruitkar) on the property from the start of the apple and pear harvest (late August/early September) until the end of January. The stand sells apples and pears from the orchard on a self-service basis. During the self-pick days in September, the farm also sells apple juice (1.5L and 3L packs) and serves coffee, tea, and apple crumble cake on the orchard terrace, while supplies last.

Dahlia bulbs from the picking garden are available for purchase by message. Payment for all items is accepted in cash or via a Dutch banking app using a QR code.
