De Dolle Deel is a unique farm located in the countryside, near Hoonhorst and about 8 kilometers from Zwolle. During the summer period (July 9th to August 30th, Wednesday to Saturday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM), the farm offers a corn maze, a relaxing terrace with a playground for children, and a flower-picking garden.
In the flower-picking garden, visitors can pick their own bouquets. It’s a self-service system, open daily, and operates on an honor system where you pay for your flowers via QR code or cash.
The corn maze has a puzzle-based scavenger hunt for children, and a special challenge this year is to crack the code to open a treasure chest.
What visitors say
This location offers a delightful experience, particularly for families with children. The maize maze, complete with a puzzle element, is a popular attraction, though some find the entrance fee (€7 per person, including adults) a bit steep, especially considering parental supervision is often required for younger children. Beyond the maze, there’s a playground with trampolines, swings, and a slide, ensuring ample entertainment. Visitors consistently praise the well-maintained facilities and the friendly, hospitable owners. Many appreciate the option to rent a classic Volkswagen campervan for unique tours. Beyond family activities, it’s also suitable for business gatherings like workshops or brainstorm sessions, offering a quiet and well-equipped space. Refreshments are reasonably priced and the option to pick your own flowers adds to the charm. Its location in the countryside near Zwolle contributes to its appeal as a peaceful getaway.
