De Marwijkshof is a fruit farm and garden located in Marwijksoord, providing a diverse range of fresh produce and engaging activities for visitors. The farm features a self-picking garden where guests can harvest their own fruits and flowers during the appropriate seasons. Items typically available for self-picking include blackberries, dahlias, Santana apples, pumpkins, ornamental gourds, green and red gooseberries, blackcurrants, whitecurrants, redcurrants, blueberries, courgettes, potatoes, and sunflowers. Raspberries, while not available for self-picking, can be purchased in the farm shop during their harvest season.
The farm also hosts a Landwinkel, or farm shop, which offers a wide selection of fresh and regional delicacies. This includes various fresh vegetables like carrots, leeks, beans, and kale, as well as potatoes, soft fruits, apples, and fruit juices made from the farm’s own produce, such as 100% pure blackcurrant juice and apple-blackcurrant juice. Other items found in the shop are raisin porridge, yogurt, milk, honey, cheese, eggs, jams, syrups, local wines and beers, sausages, meats, fruit chocolates, and farm-made ice cream. Custom and pre-made gift packages are available, and the farm provides fruit delivery services to businesses.
For entertainment and recreation, De Marwijkshof offers a seasonal corn maze with a treasure hunt, a welcoming terrace equipped with pedal tractors for children, a trampoline, and a charging station for electric bicycles. They organize an annual farm cycling tour and seasonally conduct an apple and pear collection drive for juice production. Furthermore, the farm caters to groups with excursions featuring tractor-train tours and educational insights into their crops, alongside facilities for meetings that can include catering with local products.
Generally, the farm shop operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 to 17:00, with specific closures announced for holidays.
