Fruitbedrijf De Marwijkshof is a family-run fruit farm and garden center located in Marwijksoord, offering a wide variety of fresh, locally grown produce and regional specialties. The farm features a pick-your-own garden where visitors can harvest seasonal fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The on-site farm shop, known as the Landwinkel, stocks a diverse range of products including fresh fruits and vegetables, local cheeses, meats, eggs, honey, jams, syrups, wines, beers, and handmade gifts. In addition to self-picking and shopping, the farm offers activities such as a corn maze with a scavenger hunt, a pedal tractor track for children, a terrace for refreshments, and facilities for group excursions and meetings.
The self-picking garden is open during the harvest season, with estimated start dates for various crops. Anticipated availability includes dahlias, sunflowers, zucchini, potatoes, and green gooseberries around the end of June; red gooseberries, blackcurrants, and blueberries around the beginning of July; white and red currants around mid-July; blackberries in August; Santana (a hypo-allergenic apple) and pumpkins in September. Please note that raspberries are not available for self-picking but can be purchased in the farm shop. The picking garden is closed until the crops are ready for harvest in 2026.
The farm shop and garden are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The farm is also closed from December 25th through January 5th. The corn maze is typically open from early July until early October. The farm is wheelchair accessible, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking, and restroom. Payment options include debit and credit cards as well as contactless mobile payments.
