de Zuiderkrib

Zuiderkrib is a multifunctional farm and creative outdoor space located in Kraggenburg, in the Noordoostpolder region of Flevoland. It operates as a biological farm, a pick-your-own garden, and a recreational destination, offering visitors a chance to experience the countryside, local history, and seasonal produce.

The self-picking garden, Pluktuin Zuiderkrib, allows visitors to pick their own flowers and seasonal fruit. Starting from Easter, the garden opens for tulips. Summer flowers for plucking are available from the end of June until the end of October. Visitors can also pick berries and other fruit during the season. The garden is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00, from June through the end of October. In spring, the tulip field and schenkerij (coffee shop) are open from Easter onwards.

In addition to the pick-your-own garden, the farm offers a range of activities. The schenkerij, Zuidpunt T121, serves barista coffee, homemade cake, and light lunches. It is open from Easter until October on Mondays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 16:30, and on weekends and public holidays from 11:00 to 16:30. The farm is also a social enterprise, providing work-learning placements for people with a distance to the labor market.

The site offers several accommodation options, including a Tiny House on the dike, a renovated barn (Kapschuur) with rooms, and pop-up camping in the meadow. Other experiences include fat bike tours, workshops, picknicking with local produce, and a variety of seasonal events like the Tulpendiner, a kofferbakmarkt (car boot sale), and creative festivals.

What visitors say

Sonja van Ouwerkerk found the farm to be incredibly pleasant and cozy, particularly enjoying its unique setting behind the neighbors’ gardens, which allows everyone to partake in the experience. Her sole minor disappointment was the absence of daffodils.
