Eric Sleutjes Bloemen en Planten

Eric Sleutjes Bloemen en Planten is a family-run operation in Sint-Michielsgestel that has been a staple in the local community for over 65 years. The business combines a plant nursery, a flower shop (bloemisterij), a pick-your-own flower garden (pluktuin), and a seasonal tea house (theehuis). The pick-your-own garden is open from July until the first frost, offering roughly 80 to 90 varieties of flowers. Visitors can pick asters, roses, delphiniums (ridderspoor), phlox, cosmos, dahlias, zinnias, and sunflowers to create their own field bouquets.

The tea house is open from late April (around Koningsdag) through the end of October, Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The plant nursery (kas) operates from mid-March through the end of October on the same schedule as the tea house, with the addition that it is also open on Mondays in May. The flower shop is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Sunday being a day of rest.

The spring assortment runs from March through June, featuring items like violas in March and April, and a wide selection of bedding plants, hanging baskets, potted plants, and herbs from late April through mid-July. In the autumn, the nursery is open from September until mid-November, offering winter violas and fall bloomers such as heath and mountain tea. The entire location is wheelchair accessible with free on-street and on-site parking, credit cards and contactless payments are accepted, and items can be picked up in-store.
