The season runs from the end of May until the first weekend of the autumn holidays, as long as there is no early frost. Additionally, Biotuin Dijklandhoeve cultivates organic vegetables and soft fruit on a 0.66-hectare plot.

Bloementuin Zwolle is a biological flower picking garden located in Zwolle, the largest organic pick-your-own flower garden in the area. The garden is fully maintained using organic methods and grows a wide variety of perennial and annual flowers in open soil. Visitors can cut their own bouquet directly from the fields. The picking season runs from the end of May or the beginning of June (depending on the weather) until around mid-October. The garden is open for picking on Fridays from 14:00 to 17:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:00. The business is operational and is run by a female entrepreneur.
