Kwekerij en Pluktuin van Buggenum is a small-scale ecological nursery and pick-your-own flower garden located on the Gooreweg at the edge of the village of Buggenum. The garden specializes in a unique assortment of perennial plants and ornamental grasses, cultivated with care for over 25 years. Visitors can wander through the fields, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and select their own flowers. Custom-made bouquets are also available, and a pavilion on-site offers coffee, fresh mint tea, and a place to relax. Local products such as honey, jam, and fruit juices, made from produce grown on the nursery, are available for purchase.
Guests are invited to pick their own bouquet of 20 stems for €8.50 from mid-May through October. A ready-made bouquet costs €12.50. Self-picking is also available for fresh mint and other herbs from the herb garden. A “Pluktuinabonnement” (flower subscription) costs €22.50 for three self-picked bouquets, and can be sent as a gift. Workshop sessions for making a sheaf-bound bouquet are offered from June through September for €20 per person (minimum 4, maximum 10 participants), including coffee and cake. Group visits for up to 25 people are possible by appointment, costing €13.50 per person and including coffee, cake, and a self-picked bouquet.
From March to April and September to November, bare-root perennials from the field are available for sale by telephone appointment only.
