Schorre is a unique location on the Zeeland coast near Vrouwenpolder, Netherlands, offering a campsite, vacation rentals, a farm shop (“Landwinkel”), and an orchard. The owners are Martin and Carien Duvekot.
The campsite has 25 spacious pitches with electricity, a playground, and allows dogs (limited quantity). The heated sanitary building includes facilities for disabled guests, as well as washing machine and dryer. The campsite is open from March 22nd to November 1st in 2025, and reservations can be made online starting December 2, 2024.
Four vacation rentals are available (4-, 6-, and 12-person, with the 12-person limited to 8 during the summer).
The farm shop sells seasonal fruit from their orchard, including juices and jams made from their own fruit, as well as regional products, cheeses, nuts, delicacies, sheep wool creams, and gifts. Coffee, tea, and apple juice are available to purchase and drink on the terrace. Breads and pastries (croissants, rolls, sourdough bread) can be pre-ordered via email or WhatsApp for next-day pickup (except on Sundays when closed). The shop also creates custom gift baskets.
The orchard grows apples, pears, and plums. In September and October, customers can pick their own apples and pears in the orchard every Saturday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm between September 14th and October 5th, 2024.
