Natuurboerderij KipEigen is a regenerative farm and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiative located in Loosdrecht, Netherlands. The farm focuses on producing food in a way that actively restores the soil, biodiversity, and the local ecosystem, operating on the principle that farming should leave the land healthier than it was found.
Self-picking is available for fruit during the growing season. Apples, pears, cherries, blackberries, raspberries, and currants can be picked from the farm’s orchard, which is open every other Friday from 12:00 PM starting in the summer season. Pickers are welcome to wander among the chickens and the mini-food forest while harvesting.
Produce Available Through CSA Shares While not strictly self-pick, the farm operates a CSA model where members purchase seasonal shares:
- Vegetable Packages: Weekly, freshly harvested, spray-free vegetables. The season runs from approximately May to November, with pickups on Fridays from 12:00 PM until Saturday.
