Hof van Heden is an unsprayed vegetable and small fruit garden located in Almkerk, Netherlands. They grow over 65 different kinds of vegetables and herbs year-round, including beets, turnip greens, Jerusalem artichokes, kale, snow peas, rhubarb, beans, and tomatoes. The berry garden features about 10 types of berries like raspberries, blackcurrants, jostaberries, redcurrants, and blackberries. There are also around 25 young fruit trees, including 10 fig trees in a mini food forest.
You can become a member to participate in the harvest. Members can harvest 3 to 5 types of vegetables and a bunch of herbs or a salad mix each week during the harvest season (mid-April to mid-November). The harvest days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The farm also has a self-service stall open every day except Sunday from May to December, selling vegetables and homemade products. Some products are also available for online ordering. They also organize workshops for children and birthday parties.
