Oudefruitbomen.nl is a nursery and fruit tree specialist, located in Kraggenburg, Flevoland, with an additional location in Leimuiderbrug. The business has been active since 1954 and offers a wide selection of over 10,000 fruit trees, including apple, pear, cherry, plum, and peach trees, as well as more unique varieties like medlar, fig, almond, and quince trees.
The farm offers a self-picking experience directly from its orchard during the summer. Visitors can taste apples and pears straight from the branch. This selection event is promoted as occurring in the summer, specifically in September, when visitors can also taste the fruit. The process involves choosing a tree while the fruit is still on it, making a deposit, and having the tree cared for until the planting season begins in the autumn (October/November). Additionally, the Vink Fruitboerderij, which shares the location, operates a “fruitpluktuin” (fruit picking garden) in September, offering a general self-picking experience.
