Pluk de Bloom is a pick-your-own flower garden in Numansdorp, in the Hoeksche Waard near Rotterdam. It sits on Dutch sea clay, at one of the few bamboo nurseries in the Netherlands. Tulips, dahlias and field flowers are grown without unnecessary spraying.
In spring, visitors can pick tulips in different colours and types. In summer and autumn, dahlias are the main crop, alongside zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers and other cut flowers. Tea can also be picked in the garden.
The garden is open during the flowering season. In 2026 it opens in March, with the first opening day on Saturday 28 March. The self-service bouquet bar is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00; it is closed on Sunday. The garden shop with wrapping service is staffed on Wednesday from 19:00 to 21:00 for the regular picking evening, and on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00. At the bouquet bar, visitors read the picking instructions, take a basket and scissors into the garden, wrap their bouquet and pay by cash or QR code.
Reservations are not required. Parking is free on site and close to the entrance. Children may only enter the garden under adult supervision. Workshops, including bouquet making and flower arranging, are offered by appointment. Gift vouchers and picking subscriptions are available, and flower delivery is possible in the region around Numansdorp on request. Visitors are advised to check current information shortly before travelling.
