Sociale Voedseltuin Pluk Wijhe is a social food garden and food forest located in Wijhe, Netherlands, situated in the IJssel river forelands between Zwolle and Deventer. This project is in development, with the goal of creating a space for recreation, community, and the cultivation of healthy, pesticide-free produce for those in need. The garden is built on the principles of social connection, education, and participation, aiming to make fresh food accessible to everyone, particularly in collaboration with the local food bank. The site also includes a renovated farm outbuilding available for overnight stays, which operates on 100% green energy.

The garden is currently being established and is not yet in full production. The planned planting, which will include a mix of a food forest, vegetable garden, and fruit orchard, is scheduled to begin in the autumn of 2026. The intended self-pick produce will include a variety of robust crops suited to the local clay soil, such as potatoes, onions, garlic, beets, chard, kohlrabi, kale, pointed cabbage, beans, corn, pumpkin, zucchini, peas, broad beans, and simple herbs. Visitors are welcome to come for a chat or to observe the progress, but the formal pick-your-own activities and produce availability will begin once the garden is fully operational in the coming years. The farm is suitable for children and has toilet facilities.

Operating hours are not specified, though the garden is envisioned to be a seasonal, community-driven space with a rhythm set by the growing months. The overnight accommodation in the outbuilding is available for booking. The garden is a project that welcomes volunteers, school groups, and community members, and aims to be a low-threshold place for everyone.
