The garden is typically open from late June or early July through the end of September, operating Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00. Special picking evenings are held every Thursday until 21:00, weather permitting. Visitors are encouraged to check the garden’s social media for current opening hours and activities.

The garden offers a diverse selection of cut flowers, specifically chosen for their beauty and long vase life. Among the blooms available for self-picking are gladioli, dahlias, delphinium, sunflowers, sweet William, wallflowers, snapdragons, and numerous other varieties grown from bulbs, tubers, and seeds. There is a particular focus on gladioli and a wide assortment of dahlias, including many new, long-stemmed varieties planted annually. The garden also cultivates over 130 types of perennial plants that are specially selected for their suitability as cut flowers.

Operating as a self-service garden, it costs €10 for a bouquet consisting of up to 20 different stems. Payment can be made conveniently via QR code or with exact cash in a money box at the stall. Scissors are provided for picking, and binding materials are available for arranging flowers. Visitors are advised to read on-site instructions for specific flowers and to note that dogs are not permitted in the garden.

In addition to flower picking, Plukplezier Wapse hosts a variety of creative workshops from April through September. These include sessions for painting ceramic bowls or vases, crafting unique glass candlesticks, assembling layered flower bulb arrangements, and guided field bouquet workshops. The garden is managed by Theo and Sandra van Aanholt.
