Plukplezier Wapse is a self-picking flower garden located in Wapse, in the province of Drenthe, run by Theo and Sandra van Aanholt. Visitors can create their own bouquets from a wide variety of cut flowers, including gladiolus, dahlias, delphiniums, sunflowers, stock, wallflowers, snapdragons, and many other annuals and perennials. The picking season runs from the end of June through the end of September. During the months of July, August, and September, the garden is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a special evening picking session every Thursday until 9:00 PM, weather permitting. A bouquet of up to 20 stems costs €10. The garden operates as a self-service location; payment can be made by QR code or cash (exact change) in the money box at the stall when staff are not present. In addition to picking, the farm offers a variety of creative workshops from April through September, including vase painting, bowl painting, making glass candle holders, and creating a table lamp. The workshop on bouquet picking and arranging was fully booked for the 2025 season but is available for the 2026 season. Please note that dogs and other pets are not allowed in the garden.
