Bloemfontein Bergen is a self-picking farm located in Bergen, North Holland, at Groeneweg 8a. The farm is run by a family and friends. It opens at the end of March/beginning of April 2025.
Visitors can pick their own flowers, including:
- Tulips: Available from April to mid-May. These are pulled from the ground with the bulb.
- Peonies: Bloom for a short period at the beginning of May.
- Summer Flowers: Including peonies, lupines, alliums, irises, and more, available from mid-May to July. Irises are pulled from the ground with the bulb, other should be cut with your own scissors.
- Dahlias, Gladiolus, and Sunflowers: Available at the end of summer, from July to September. Scissors are recommended.
Upon arrival, visitors can park on the premises and will receive instructions from a team member. Dogs must be kept on a leash. After picking, flowers can be counted and wrapped at the packing table. Refreshments are available for purchase on weekends.
The farm also offers events, such as a Easter Egg Hunt in April and a Mother’s Day Lunch in May. At the end of the tulip season, there is an “all you can pick” event. Gift vouchers are available for purchase.
