Pluktuin De Heerevelden

Pluktuin De Heerevelden

De Heerevelden is a family-run flower farm owned by Christian van Thiel and his wife Annemarie. Besides growing flowers on a large scale, the farm focuses on product innovation and offers a flower experience center. The new building includes a flower processing area, a shop selling regional products, a tea room, and a workshop space. A self-picking garden with over 80 varieties of seasonal cut flowers is also available, accessible to elderly and disabled visitors. Customers can pick their own bouquets from mid-June and the price is determined by the thickness of the stems. Pre-made bouquets can also be ordered.

The tea room offers a variety of teas, coffee, regional juices, pastries, and snacks. The shop sells regional products like jams, syrups, baking mixes, juices, soups, and old-fashioned sweets, and gift baskets.

The farm offers various arrangements such as walking tours with a backpack lunch in the Handel area, cycling routes starting from the farm with nearby junctions, and company outings. Workshops for flower arrangements are available for groups. The farm collaborates with the Gemert bird working group, selling nest boxes in the shop.

As of now, the self-picking garden and tea house are closed.
