Pluktuin De Keet is a flower picking garden and creative workshop space located in Vorden, offering a peaceful environment to enjoy nature and create your own bouquets. The garden features winding walking paths, flower fields, and seating areas, and is designed to be freely accessible to visitors during the growing season. The garden also sells flower seeds from its own cultivation.
From approximately the end of June until the end of September, the garden is open daily for self-picking a wide variety of flowers. Over 30 different types of flowers and ornamental grasses are available, including Zinnia, Cosmea, Cornflower, Scabiosa, Dill, Calendula, and Strawflower, among others. The selection changes yearly, with some flowers blooming only once and others blooming continuously throughout the summer. In addition to flowers, seasonal fruit from an on-site orchard is also available for sale, including old-fashioned sweet cherries for a few weeks in June, as well as apples, pears, stewed pears, apple juice, walnuts, and pickled zucchini depending on the harvest.
The garden is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM during the picking season. The facility is also available for special use as a photo location. Visitors are advised to bring a vase or bucket of water for cut flowers; pruning shears are available on site. Dogs are not permitted in the garden.
