Pluktuin Erebloem is a community-run picking garden and neighborhood association located in Nieuwegein. Established in 2021 from a local initiative, the garden is maintained entirely by volunteers with the goal of bringing residents together in a sustainable, green environment. The garden is open to the public daily from 08:00 to 20:00, every day of the week. The site is LGBTQ+ friendly, suitable for children, and wheelchair accessible, with free street parking available.

The garden offers a variety of produce that visitors can pick themselves. The featured items include fruits from several young fruit trees and berry bushes. The specific produce available includes berries from bessenstruiken (berry bushes) and leifruit (espalier fruit) from trees. The picking season generally aligns with the growing season in the Netherlands, with the garden being operational and open to visitors primarily from spring through early autumn. Key community events, such as the official opening of the picking season, often take place during the annual Burendag (Neighbors’ Day) in September, though the garden itself is accessible throughout the warmer months. The garden is also open during the national NLdoet volunteer day in March and participates in the Open Eetbare Tuinen dag (Open Edible Gardens Day) in early September.
