Pluktuin Hoge Hexel is a self-picking garden located at Oude Schoolweg 1A in Hoge Hexel. This garden primarily offers visitors the opportunity to pick their own flowers, with specific picking instructions available for dahlias. For the best quality, it is recommended to harvest flowers during cooler times of the day, such as early morning or late. Picking scissors are provided for visitors’ use.
The garden operates on a per-stem pricing model, costing €0.40 per stem. Payments can be made in cash or via a QR code found on a money box.
The Pluktuin is situated opposite the owners’ house at number 1A, accessible by crossing a small bridge over a ditch. Parking for cars and bicycles is available next to the residence, on the driveway, in a field where sheep graze.
Currently, Pluktuin Hoge Hexel is closed. It plans to reopen for visitors in the summer of 2026, and updates are shared on its Instagram and Facebook pages.
