Pluktuin IJzendoorn in IJzendoorn is a pick-your-own flower and plant garden in the Betuwe. The farm grows annual summer flowers, perennials, shrubs, grasses, fruit and vegetables in a circular, park-like layout with wide, accessible paths. From July until the end of the season, visitors can pick their own bouquets from the flower fields. A bundle of 20 stems costs €12.50; staff will arrange them into a bouquet for €15.00.
The farm also sells plants from its own nursery, including perennials, shrubs, roses and herbs, all untreated. The nursery is open for plant sales until 1 November, even when flower picking is closed due to weather.
Pluktuin IJzendoorn is open Wednesday to Saturday, 09.00 to 17.00. There is a terrace serving coffee, tea and seasonal drinks, and a binder’s table where visitors can arrange their flowers. Children can play in a sandpit and with a vintage play kitchen. Groups of up to 10 people can book a picking arrangement, which includes drinks, access to the garden and help with arranging bouquets for €22.50 per person. Workshops are held in autumn, though this season’s sessions are fully booked.
