Pluktuin IJzendoorn

Pluktuin IJzendoorn is a pick-your-own garden and plant nursery located in the Betuwe region of the Netherlands, between Echteld and IJzendoorn. The garden is designed with a park-like, circular layout, featuring wide, accessible paths that guide visitors through a colorful landscape of shrubs, perennials, grasses, and a diverse selection of annual summer flowers. Starting July 1st, visitors can self-pick these flowers. A bouquet of 20 stems costs €12.50, with the option to have the flowers professionally arranged and wrapped for €15.00. A special “plukarrangement” (picking arrangement) is available for €22.50 per person (for groups up to 10), which includes coffee or tea with a seasonal treat, access to the picking garden, and use of the binding studio. Children are welcome to pick flowers, taste fruit from the fruit trees, and play in the sandbox or with the brocante play kitchen. The farm also operates as a nursery, offering over a thousand varieties of plants—including native plants, perennials, roses, shrubs, and kitchen and medicinal herbs—all grown without pesticides. A cozy terrace on site serves coffee, tea, and organic juices.

The garden is open from March 1st to the end of the season, with flower picking specifically available from July 1st. The regular business hours are Wednesday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The farm is closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday. Payment can be made with cash, debit card, or contactless mobile payment. The property offers a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking. Workshops are organized in October and November, though all spots for the current season are fully booked; information on next season’s workshops is available via Facebook.
