Pluktuin Uden is a self-picking farm located on the Hooistraat in Uden. It operates using the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) model, where subscribers are responsible for harvesting their own food, reducing their environmental footprint. All materials used are certified organic, and the farm cultivates with respect for the soil and its inhabitants, without pesticides or artificial fertilizers, promoting biodiversity. A 5-meter wide strip of trees and shrubs is planted along the border with a conventional farm to act as a natural barrier and provide habitat for birds and insects. Edible flowers are also planted among the fruits and vegetables for the enjoyment of pollinators and subscribers alike.

Besides harvesting produce, Pluktuin Uden aims to be a place for relaxation, education, and information. Two garden plots are dedicated to growing old and new vegetable varieties, and tastings are organized.

As a subscriber, you get access to a variety of fresh, seasonal produce, including:

  • Vegetables: A wide selection with around 85 different types.
  • Small Fruits: Berries (red, white, black, and pink currants, gooseberries, honeyberries), grapes, Japanese wineberries, kiwiberries and raspberries.
  • Herbs: Over 80 different herbs, which can be used for cooking, tea, and even medicinal purposes.
  • Flowers: Many edible flowers.

The farm also organizes workshops and events.
