Plukweide Breda, a self-picking farm located near Breda, Netherlands, offered a unique experience for customers to pick their own bouquets. Situated between the Ginnekenmarktje and the Markdal, the farm grew a variety of flowers, including a flower mix, pumpkins, sunflowers and chamomile.
Customers could access the flower field via a gate on the bike path along the Mark River. They were asked to scan a QR code in the field to pay for their bouquets.
The farm emphasized sustainability and aimed to learn from nature through experimentation. In the year the website was online, the flower mix was unsuccessful so the company had to scrap the picking option that year.
