Rianne’s Pluktuin in Breugel is a pick-your-own flower farm where visitors can cut seasonal blooms. The fields are planted with a variety of flowers, including dahlias, zinnias, and cosmos, depending on the time of year. The farm operates on a self-service basis—you pick what you want, and payment is by the stem or bunch.

The farm is open from spring to autumn, with exact dates varying by season. Current opening hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 09.00 to 21.00, though it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The farm also has a small broodplaats (nursery area) where new plants are grown.

Parking is available on-site. The farm is run as an ecological operation, with no pesticides used. You are welcome to bring your own scissors and containers, though some are provided. The flowers are sold at fixed prices per stem or bunch, with no weighing required.

The farm grows a mix of fresh and dried flowers, including dried-flower arrangements and winter wreaths. The main picking season runs from spring to autumn, with the field open for self-service on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9.00 to 16.00. During school holidays, the field closes at 12.00. You pick your own bouquet and pay by the bunch or by the stem. Instructions, scissors and ties are provided at the field. Payment is by cash or QR code; if neither works, you can send a message for a payment link. Pre-picked bouquets are also available at the farm’s stall, with prices starting at €7.50 for a small bunch. The farm occasionally sets up a weekend stall in nearby Aarle-Rixtel.

At Philips Fruittuin in Eindhoven you pick your own apples and pears during the Apple Picking Days in late August and September. The farm grows apples, pears and plums on twelve hectares of orchard. Picking is only allowed on specific dates, which are announced in July each year. In 2026 the Apple Picking Days were held on 29 and 30 August and 5, 6, 12 and 13 September. Visitors buy a ticket that includes one picking bag, which you fill with apples or pears. Extra bags are available to buy. Tickets are sold for morning or afternoon sessions: 9.00 to 13.00 or 13.30 to 17.00. The farm is only open to ticket holders on these days. Children under eight enter free.
