't Zeeuws Knoopje

Camping ’t Zeeuws Knoopje is a family-run mini campsite and arable farm located on the edge of the village of Aagtekerke, in the Walcheren region of Zeeland, Netherlands. It is situated just 2 kilometers from the seaside resort of Domburg and its beaches. The property features a historic, monumentale farmstead that has been inhabited by the same family since the 18th century, and guests can experience the working farm environment.

The farm grows a variety of crops on approximately 35 hectares of land, which rotate to maintain soil health. These crops include winter wheat, barley, potatoes, onions, sugar beets, grass seed, and brown beans. Guests are welcome to learn about the arable farming and can even help with the harvest of potatoes and onions, which typically occurs from late September into early October. A flower strip is also cultivated next to the campsite for those with a “BloemenPlukbon” to pick flowers.

The campsite offers 20 spacious pitches, spread over four grassy fields. There are four types of accommodations available for those who do not wish to bring their own tent or caravan: a holiday home (’t Boerenhuis), a chalet (’t Zwaluwnest), a converted former pigsty (’t Varkenshokje), and a caravan (’t Koekoeksnest). The holiday home is open year-round, while the chalet, trekkershuisje, and caravan are available from April through October. The campsite itself is open from late March through early November. Business hours are not specified, as the site operates on a reservation basis.

Facilities include separate men’s and women’s toilets and showers, family showers (one with a baby bath), a dishwashing area, laundry machines, a bike shed with e-bike charging, a recreational attic with games, and free Wi-Fi. The property also has a petting zoo with goats, rabbits, and chickens, a play field with a trampoline, swings, and a water play area, and pedal tractors and go-karts for children. The site is rated 4.8 stars from 127 reviews on Google.
