At Theeschenkerij de Pluktuin in Koudekerke, visitors can pick their own flowers from the adjoining pluktuin. The field grows annual flowers, available to cut during the picking season from April to October.
To pick flowers, you first check in at the tearoom. Baskets and scissors are provided. You pay for what you pick by the stem or bunch—prices are set by the farm. The flowers are grown on-site, and the selection changes as different varieties come into bloom.
The farm is open from April to October, Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00 to 17.00. From November to March, it opens Thursday to Saturday at the same hours. Some dates have adjusted opening times, such as early closing or full closure, so it’s worth checking ahead if visiting in late December or January.
Alongside the flower field, Theeschenkerij de Pluktuin runs a tearoom serving breakfast, lunch, cakes, and drinks. Afternoon tea, high tea, and high beer or wine arrangements are available by reservation. The tearoom also sells homemade cakes and pastries. Reservations are required for groups and for high tea or high beer in July, August, and September.
The tearoom has a wheelchair-accessible entrance. Parking is available on-site. The farm occasionally hosts workshops, such as flower arranging.
