Theetuin bij de Heerlijckheid

Theetuin bij de Heerlijckheid

De Heerlijckheid Brocante is a charming destination in Oirsbeek, Zuid-Limburg, housed in an idyllic half-timbered building. It combines a tea garden, a brocante shop, a flower shop, and a workshop space. Known as “Theetuin bij de Heerlijckheid,” this peaceful location offers a place to relax and enjoy an English-style tea experience amidst a garden setting with sedum-covered verandas, picnic tables, Cochin chickens, and a traditional Bakhuus oven. The business is operational year-round.

During the summer months, the tea garden is open for visitors to enjoy a pot of tea or coffee with homemade cake. On Fridays and Saturdays, walk-in guests can enjoy tea and pastries for a relaxing “me-time” moment. A four-course high tea is available by reservation from Monday to Thursday, priced at €34.95 per person.

The shop offers a curated selection of loose leaf teas, including green, black, rooibos, white, herbal, and fruit infusions—many with local Limburg names. Seasonal flower arrangements, brocante items, and home accessories are also available. Throughout the seasons, green decoration workshops are held, often incorporating materials gathered from the tea and picking garden. In summer, workshops take place outdoors, where participants first collect materials before creating long-lasting decorations.

Self-picking is primarily available during the summer workshops, where participants gather flowers and greenery directly from the garden to use in their creations.
