Tuinderij Geworteld is a small-scale biological farm and flower garden located in Bruchem. On 6,000 square meters of open ground and with a 300 square meter greenhouse, a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers are grown without the use of tractors or heating. The operation focuses on true seasonal produce and biodiversity, supplying top restaurants as well as offering spaces for customers to harvest for themselves.
Members can self-harvest vegetables and herbs directly from the beds throughout the growing season. In the winter months, the available crop includes items such as lamb’s lettuce, winter purslane, pumpkin, carrots, Jerusalem artichoke, spinach, Asian greens, lettuce, kohlrabi, beets, leek, kale, red and white cabbage, palm kale, Brussels sprouts, and parsley. A separate self-pick flower garden is open from the first weekend of July through the last weekend of September.
The farm is open for harvesting from Monday through Saturday, between 08:00 and 20:00. The farm itself is closed on Sundays. A wheelchair-accessible parking space is available on site.
