Tuinen van Kraaybeekerhof is an old estate located in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, Netherlands, with biodynamic gardens. The estate’s shop is closed for the year but will reopen in Spring 2025. The nursery remains open for purchasing perennial plants.
During the season, you can become a member of the self-harvest garden and pick your own biodynamically grown vegetables, berries, and herbs every week. Additionally, a flower subscription is available for picking your own bouquets.
The estate also features a tea garden that is open from May 1st to October 1st. Bees are an integral part of the estate’s ecosystem. Volunteers are welcome to help with various tasks in the gardens. Workshops and events are organized regularly. A weekly harvest report is sent to subscribers, detailing what is available for picking and garden updates.
What visitors say
This place is undeniably beautiful and well-intentioned, making it a wonderful spot for relaxation, coffee, cake, flower picking, or purchasing plants. Private dinners are also offered. However, the pizza nights are not recommended. The oven capacity is insufficient for the number of guests, leading to long waits and staggered pizza delivery per table. In some cases, pizzas are even forgotten. While the taste is good, the price-quality ratio is perceived as not meeting expectations, with smaller pizzas and softer crusts compared to a typical pizzeria. Despite the pizza night shortcomings, the location itself is unparalleled in Driebergen, offering a tranquil oasis amidst a busy world and a delightful experience for a quick bite or drink.
