What visitors say
This charming self-picking flower garden offers a delightful experience, highly recommended by visitors for its beautiful blooms and warm hospitality. Conveniently located directly opposite the popular Barefoot Path, it provides guests with the opportunity to gather their own unsprayed flowers.
Upon arrival, visitors report to a log cabin next to the cowshed, where they can pick up a pair of scissors and a jug for their chosen bouquet. A small bouquet, filling a modest jug, costs €10, while a larger arrangement is priced at €17.50. For those who prefer not to pick themselves, fresh bouquets are readily available at the driveway, and dried flowers can also be found in buckets inside the cabin.
Guests particularly appreciate the friendly and informative presence of the farm owner, who gladly shares insights about the flowers and the farm’s sustainable practices, such as the use of cow manure for the adjacent potato and pumpkin fields. While the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, one visitor suggested adding labels to identify the flowers and introducing a self-service option for coffee, tea, and cookies within the cabin, allowing for a more leisurely enjoyment in the covered conservatory.
