Fruitpluktuin is a self-picking fruit garden located on a half-hectare property at Hopweg 64 in Rutten. The garden features approximately 20 rows of fruit plants and is also a fruit and vegetable shop. The farm grows a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and is wheelchair accessible with a gender-neutral toilet and contactless payment options available.

Visitors can self-pick the following produce, with their respective picking seasons:

  • Blackberries (Chester variety): July to October
  • Raspberries: Summer raspberries from June to August, autumn raspberries from September to October
  • Red currants: June to the end of July
  • Kiwiberries (Issai variety): September to the end of October
  • Grapes: September to October
  • Elderberries: September to November
  • Apples (Elstar, Pinova, Excellent Star, Golden Reiners): Mid-September to early October
  • Pears (Gieser Wildman, Conference, Doyenne du Comice): September to October
  • Cherries (Kordia, Regina, Lapins): Mid-July to early August
  • Plums (Victoria red, Opal blue): July to August
  • Apricots (Bredase): August to September
  • Peaches (Amsden): August
  • Nectarines (Madame Blanchet): August to September

In addition to fruit, the farm also grows potatoes, onions, pumpkins, gourds, and sunflowers for purchase. Pre-picked fruit is also available for sale at the farm.

Open hours:

  • Monday to Saturday: 10:00 – 20:00
  • Sunday: 15:00 – 21:00

Access hours may vary, with an alternative schedule from 09:00–18:00 on weekdays and Saturdays, and 10:00–18:00 on Sundays.

The farm is open for the full picking season and also offers guided tours by appointment.
