Vriend Aardbeien in Benningbroek is a strawberry farm where visitors can pick their own fruit. The season runs from mid-April to the end of December. Strawberries are grown in tunnels and greenhouses, making them accessible at standing height.

You pay by the kilo for what you pick. The farm also sells strawberries and local products such as jam, juice, cheese and nuts in its on-site shop. The farm also sells fruit trees and shrubs if you want to grow your own. You pick what you like, weigh it in the farm shop, and pay by the kilo. The farm provides baskets or containers. Apples and pears are the main crops, with plums, cherries, blackberries and raspberries available in smaller quantities. Vegetables include courgettes, beans, tomatoes, peppers and cabbage, depending on the season. The pluktuin is open from late June until November, Friday to Sunday, 13.00 to 16.00.
