Wenum Hoeve is a farm located on 25 hectares of land in Wenum-Wiesel, Gelderland. It combines agriculture with a care farm, a farm shop, a tea room, and meeting and event facilities. The farm is home to Hereford cattle and also raises Holstein Friesian calves for dairy rearing. Products from the farm, including vegetables, flowers, and meat, are sold in the on-site farm shop.
Visitors can self-pick vegetables, fruit, and flowers from the farm’s own vegetable and flower garden. Available produce includes fresh vegetables, strawberries, herbs, and a variety of cut flowers, such as dahlias, depending on the season. The pick-your-own garden is open during the growing season; it is advisable to check the farm’s Facebook or Instagram pages for the exact opening dates each year.
The farm shop and tea room are open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:30 to 15:30, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00. The shop and tea room are closed on Saturdays during January and February. The shop is also closed on Good Friday, Easter Monday, King’s Day, Ascension Day (and the following Friday until May 16th), and Pentecost Monday. The care farm operates on weekdays from 8:30 to 16:30, and is closed on Wednesday afternoons and weekends. The grounds offer free parking and are wheelchair accessible, including the entrance, parking, and restrooms.
