Wij Telen Groente is an organic urban farm where you can harvest your own fresh vegetables, herbs, and berries. There’s also a beautiful flower picking garden. Everything is organically certified, grown with care and love by professional gardeners together with enthusiastic and involved volunteers. They also offer day care in the greenhouse under the name Telen met Zorg.
You can buy harvest shares of the products from the greenhouse or the land. The greenhouse’s produce includes winter vegetables such as carrots, leeks, yacon, romaine lettuce, and shiitake mushrooms.
Wij Telen Groente organizes the BioMarkt (Organic Market) in the Haarlemmer Kweektuin, and offers sustainable team outings where you can work together outdoors and prepare a fresh lunch with freshly harvested vegetables and herbs. Workshops are also held regularly on various topics such as preserving, fermenting, herbs, vegetable gardening, and soil life.
